Lock Folder XP

When working in an environment where file security is a vital requirement, a powerful encryption utility is an application that shouldn't be missing from your PC.

Speaking from experience, I strongly recommend you to pay serious attention while installing this program as the access password you assign to access Lock Folder XP and all locked files/folders will be entered during installation. And, of course, try not to forget the access password.

The thing I liked the most at this program was its simplicity, any user could easily manage its functions, especially when you can use the built-in protection wizard. This tool can guide you all the way in order to safely protect the drives, folders or files, deny access to Control Panel, password-protect removable drives or limit user's access to your Desktop.
Another great aspect about Lock Folder XP is that you can configure its settings to activate the protection if idle after any interval of time you wish.

The biggest drawback of this application is definitely the slow performance of your computer when protecting system files from unauthorized access or Internet attacks.

In my view, Lock Folder XP proves to be a smart solution when it comes to securing important documents, at a very reasonable price.
